Which one’s right for you?
When making a decision on a stainless steel sink, you’ll want to consider the same factors you would for choosing any kitchen sink, including installation type, number of bowls and desired features. Here's how you can narrow your sink choices:
- If you have a dishwasher and you use it for almost everything except pots and pans, you’ll likely want to consider a single-bowl sink or a sink with a low divider that can accommodate larger items.
- If you wash most of your dishes by hand, you’ll likely want two bowls.

Should you choose a fabricated or a drawn stainless steel sink?
Fabricated sinks stainless steel sinks
Fabricated sinks are made by bending and welding the stainless steel to form it into geometric angles to provide more space for dishes. The steel is often thicker, and these sinks are priced higher accordingly.

Drawn or molded stainless steel sinks
A drawn, or molded, stainless steel sink is made by pressing the steel over a mold, so there are no seams. These rounded bowl sinks are smooth and easy to clean.
